Congrats TO NOLA Prep Graduates of Spring 2022!!!
We are so proud of the NOLA Prep Spring graduating class of 2022, 5 of the 9 graduates are pictured. NOLA Prep will be having a meeting soon. If you or someone that you know, who lives in our great state of Louisiana, needs to earn their Highschool diploma, this is a great opportunity for you. This program has been a life changing second chance for so many already, and it has produced great leaders in the community such as transportation service owners and RNs. Sometimes, all we need is a second chance and someone to believe in us. NOLA Prep BELIEVES IN YOU. And they will do everything that they can to help you believe in yourselves. So again, congratulations to the Spring class of 2022. We are so proud of you. This is just the beginning. Your future is blessed. You have purpose, and we are always here to see you through.
Powerful Testimony: Breakthrough at Community Store
Please read and pray for us:
Last night i felt like i needed to go to the community store (60+ yrs old) thats across the street from our church, located in the Washington Shores Inner City area of Orlando. Just wanted to stop by a few minutes to see the regulars that hang out and also the clerk and the owner that i have been able to connect with. Once i got there, there wasnt many people there. The clerk is a young man that loves to read about things going on in the world so we got on the subject of the illuminati. We had a great conversation, but some how it turned into me sharing my testimony and all the trials and tribulations that i have been through, and how God met my needs every step of the way. What i do for God i take seriously and i am serious about soul winning! The owner replied, “I see because your out in these streets every week talking to people, and you can tell your geniune about it”. Then he dropped the question….. “How do you hear the voice of God, because its hard for me”; you should have saw my face, like a kid in a candy store! We begin to talk about it and after awhile he ask me what time do our service start on Sunday, because i want to come:) Please pray that Gods supernatural power and presence flood this community producing an atmosphere of Freedom, Hope and Restoration!!! #CrossItUp #ChangingLives #JustTheBeginning #TriumphChurchOrlando
New Season – New Beginning
Hi, Family and friends, I pray all is well. Just wanted to update you all on the move from New Orleans to Michigan. God has open up a door for us to start a bible college under the leadership of the supt. Dan Miller of the International Ministry Network of the Assemblies Of God. Supt. Dan Miller is also the pastor for First Assemblies of God in Saint Joseph, He has brought us in to develop a program that will offer discipleship, mentorship, hands on training in ministry, and a higher education that will prepare students in 3 years to be release into the ministry field to answer the call of God on their’s lives. Right across the bridge of St. Joseph is Benton Harbor. Benton Harbor is a mini new orleans. A place that needs the love of Christ to penetrate the poverty, and racist mentality amongst black and whites. God has brought us here to help prepare young people for the call on there life. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we diligently work to prepare these students, and bring restoration to the benton harbor community. God Bless
Jamaica & Costa Rica Mission Trips (Summer 2013)
What an awesome opportunity we have to share the Gospel this summer internationally. Every year, we take a missions trip out of the U.S. to expose our team to the conditions of other countries that will have them come face to face with how blessed and privilege we are to live in the U.S. I can remember my first mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic; havent been the same since. That trip changed my life; our team was there the year the earthquake hit Haiti; thank God He spared us, but people were crying out every where for God, and we got a chance to lead dozen’s of men, women, and children to the Lord. Since then, i have wanted to take a team or partner with another organization to impact a foreign city every year so that they can have the opportunity to experience the same transformation that I did.
This year, we will be traveling to Costa Rica to do some community development projects including gospel concerts, a basketball clinic, and a high-school assembly where i will share the Gospel along with the broadmore street church from Shreveport La, and Urban Reach. For the past two years, our team has traveled to Jamaica to help a couple of churches there. This year, one of the Churches has invited me to be the guest speaker for there 7 day revival! I will also be going back to the elementary school that i have spoke at each of our last trips to Jamaica. Its so cool to go back there, because as soon as I got off the van, the kids ran up to me screaming Pastor J; it was truly a heart warming feeling. I believe God is going to move in mighty ways for both trips. Please pray that God’s will be done, and that we raise the rest of the support needed to facilitate the trips. Please prayerfully consider supporting our cause to change lives in Jamaica & Costa Rica. If you would like to help us reach our goal of $2,500 – you can donate by clicking on the donate button above. Thanks in advance, God Bless:)
NBA & NBRPA Youth Basketball Clinic – New Orleans
What an awesome day! The dedication of Oliver Bush playground was a huge success. The NBA, NBRPA, and the city of New Orleans helped make this dream park a reality. The park was a 2.1 million dollar project that was built in the heart of where hurricane katrina demolished the neighborhood. There were a lot of College coaches, athletic directors, former NBA & College players in attendance. To wrap the event up, former NBA player Eldridge Recasner, who grew up in the neighborhood, led a youth basketball clinic. Pictures above are from the clinic, including me and some college coaches and athletic directors across the United States, and lastly, Mr. Eldridge Recasner, and I.
